  2.   Message System HELP                                   Message Manager 1.0

  5.   The terms "Message Board", "Conference", and "Topic" refer to any
  6.   separate message area.
  7.  
  8.   All commands affect the highlited Message Board only.
  9.   
  10.   <Enter> Read messages ........ Read any available messages in the highlited
  11.                                  Message Board.  You may begin reading from
  12.                                  any message number, either in forward or
  13.                                  reverse chronological order.  You may also
  14.                                  begin reading forward beginning with your
  15.                                  last unread (new) message.  You may not
  16.                                  have access to some Message Boards.
  17.  
  18.  <W> Write/Upload messages ..... Write or send a message, or on some BBSs,
  19.                                  you may upload a text file as "prepared
  20.                                  message text." You may not have write-
  21.                                  priveleges on some Message Boards.  If
  22.                                  available, you cannot write messages to
  23.                                  your cubbyhole. If "Delete your messages"
  24.                                  is an option, you may be asked for a 
  25.                                  password.  You cannot later delete the
  26.                                  message without the password.

  28.  <D> Delete your messages ...... If available, this allows you to delete
  29.                                  messages that you have written.  You may
  30.                                  be required to enter a password, if you
  31.                                  entered one when you wrote the message.

  33.  <S> Scan messages ............. List messages on the Message Board, with
  34.                                  Msg #, From, To, and Subject. You may mark
  35.                                  the messages to be scanned before scanning.
  36.                                  Marked messages are added to your "Waiting
  37.                                  Messages" Board.
  38.  
  39.  <R> Reset messages read ....... TBBS maintains the number of the last 
  40.                                  message that ou have read/scanned.  This
  41.                                  command allows you to reset the number to
  42.                                  the first message in the highlited Message
  43.                                  Board.

  45.  <J> Join (add) topic .......... This command only applies when doing a 
  46.                                  "Combined Read/Write/Scan."  A combined 
  47.                                  read/write/scan will be accesible by a 
  48.                                  Board name such as "All topics", "All
  49.                                  Public Boards", or a similar name.  When
  50.                                  accessing this board, only the topics/boards 
  51.                                  that you Join will be accessed.

  53.  <F> Find Message Board ........ Allows you to enter text to search for
  54.                                  in the Message Board title or description.
  55.                                  Message Boards which match the search are
  56.                                  listed, and you are given the option of
  57.                                  selecting the Board to "Go to".
  58.  
  59.  <G> Go to Message Board# ...... If you know the number of the Message
  60.                                  Board you want to access, you can go 
  61.                                  directly to it by entering the Board
  62.                                  number after selecting "Go to".  Be aware
  63.                                  though that Message Boards may be added
  64.                                  or deleted or rearranged, possibly 
  65.                                  changing the Board number.

  67.  <?> Help ...................... Displays this help text.

  69.  <Esc> Quit .................... The Escape key exits the message system.
